Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses the DineFlow Service. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service. Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of access, without refund.
1. Don’t break the law
- Don’t use the Service in violation of any applicable law, regulation, court order, or contract.
- Don’t infringe anyone’s intellectual-property, publicity, or privacy rights.
- Don’t use the Service in support of human-rights violations, weapons proliferation, modern slavery, child sexual exploitation, or terrorism.
- Don’t use the Service to facilitate gambling, payday lending, sale of controlled substances, weapons, or any other activity prohibited by our payment or telephony providers.
2. Don’t spam or harass
- Don’t send SMS, email, or voice communications without the consent legally required (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, CTIA Messaging Principles, 10DLC rules).
- Don’t bulk-message numbers you scraped or bought.
- Don’t configure the AI to disguise its identity or impersonate another business.
- Don’t use the AI to harass, threaten, defame, or intimidate any person.
- Don’t ignore STOP / OPT-OUT replies. Honor them permanently.
3. Don’t abuse the AI
- Don’t try to extract DineFlow’s system prompts, model weights, or other confidential prompt engineering.
- Don’t use the Service to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any competing AI model.
- Don’t use the AI to generate content that is sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or otherwise prohibited by our model providers’ usage policies (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, ElevenLabs).
- Don’t configure the AI to provide regulated advice (legal, medical, financial, immigration) that requires a licensed professional.
- Don’t deploy the AI on a fictional restaurant or a restaurant you do not represent.
4. Don’t attack the Service
- Don’t probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without prior written consent.
- Don’t access another customer’s data, attempt to do so, or enable a third party to do so.
- Don’t reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service except to the limited extent permitted by mandatory law.
- Don’t introduce malware, viruses, worms, or other malicious code.
- Don’t interfere with or disrupt the Service or the servers and networks connected to it.
- Don’t circumvent rate limits, usage caps, IP blocks, geo-blocks, or other access controls.
5. Don’t upload content you shouldn’t
- Don’t upload personal data of guests, employees, or others without the consent legally required in your jurisdiction (including recording-consent and biometric-data consent where applicable).
- Don’t upload credentials, secrets, API keys, payment-card details, or government IDs into the dashboard or knowledge base.
- Don’t upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
6. Telephony-specific obligations
- You will register and maintain accurate 10DLC brand and campaign information where DineFlow sends SMS on US numbers on your behalf, or you will use a number provided by us that is registered for transactional traffic.
- You will not auto-dial or robo-dial outbound calls from DineFlow numbers; the Service is for inbound voice and chat plus transactional SMS only.
- You will accurately represent your restaurant when forwarding your existing number to a DineFlow line.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, withhold or reverse content, report to law enforcement, or pursue legal action. We will use proportionate measures and will, where reasonably possible, give notice and an opportunity to cure before terminating.
